What does a sports therapist do, and do I need to be an athlete to see one?
A sports therapist specializes in preventing, diagnosing, and treating injuries—particularly those caused by movement, overuse, or physical activity. But you don’t have to be an athlete to benefit! Sports therapy can help if you’re:
-
Recovering from an injury
-
Managing chronic pain such as back or neck pain
-
Dealing with a sports injury like a sprain, strain, or tendon issue
-
Looking to improve mobility, strength, and performance

Do you take my insurance?
We are an out-of-network clinic which means we do not partner with any insurance companies. Instead we have a pay-per-visit model with predictable pricing without the limitations of an insurance company. If you have out-of-network benefits and would like to submit for reimbursement we can provide you with a superbill to assist with reimbursement. If you do not know if your insurance has out-of-network benefits, we can help with this process as well.
Our one-to-one approach has been highly successful enabling us to meet clients’ goals quickly.
How many visits will I need?
Every injury and person is unique and therefore their injury rehab will be different, however most of our clients feel better within 4-6 sessions. Because we are one-on-one sessions and do not have restrictions from the insurance companies, we are able to provide changes at a faster rate.
What is Dry Needling?
Dry Needling is a skilled intervention using a thin filiform needle to penetrate the skin and stimulate underlying myofascial trigger points and muscular and connective tissues for the management of neuromusculoskeletal pain and movement impairments. Some benefits include tension relief, reduction in pain, speeds up recovery time, and reduces inflammation to normalize the physiological process.
